Well it's another week in the books. People are still being ignorant about healthcare. Goodie Mob had a reunion. Kayne brought the racism out in people again. Jay-Z somehow got a number one album and beat out Elvis while a lot of people didn't even know Kid Cudi came out with an album. And I'm one week closer to getting a new car.
First let's get the old out of the way. As many of you witnessed, Kayne West ran on stage at the VMA's during Taylor Swift's first Moon Man and rudely interrupted her, almost the girl want to cry. Now should have Kayne done that? No. Could he have waited and said something later? Yes. Should Taylor Swift won the award? Probably not. Should she have at least said thank you to Beyonce? Yes. But while the outburst itself wasn't really that big in itself, the aftershock of it was probably as big as the Indian Ocean tsunami. Pink called him the biggest piece of shit ever. Donald Trump is on a boycott. Joe Jackson is calling for a blackball. Twitter went livid with racism, with people (mainly light colored) calling him nigger this and nigger that. It just goes to show why Obama is having such a hard time try to make a change, which leads me to this.
Obama is our President. The people of America OVERWHELMINGLY wanted him to lead them out of the hell hole the Republicans put us in. Now the same people who put in office are now wanting his head because it seems like he's not doing what he said he was going to do. Really? He put us in a deeper recession? He raised the national debt more than other President? He's trying have the government run peoples lives? The guy has only been in office for EIGHT months and trying to do a overhaul of the American government. What did people expect? A quick fix to one the deepest economic slowdowns since the Great Depression and everything is going to be all HONKEY dorery? HaHaHaHaHa people are getting dumber and dumber every minute.
Then the there is the infamous Shawn Carter has put out another number 1 album, this entitled the "Blueprint 3" The album itself wasn't really all that, maybe 3-4 good songs out of 15, but if you laid out a blueprint and it was the best one, why go back and try to revise it 2 more times? Then poor old Kid Cudi, is only projected to sale 120,000. While that's good, especially in today's world, he still not getting as much respect as he may deserved due the phenomenon called Drake.
Lastly I end it with one of the best hip hop groups of all time, Goodie Mob. They a reunion concert this past weekend in Atlanta, which sadly I wasn't able to attend. so I leave you with a couple of classics, a newcomer, and a number 1.
